Genealogy Podcasts - The Genealogy Guys - Grab a cuppa and tune in!
The Genealogy Guys, George Morgan and Drew Smith, have been around since 2005, delivering podcasts to radio stations, iTunes and their website. Podcasts are audio recordings that can be listened with your computer, reader, phone or iPad. the podcasts are in MP3 format and can be listened to directly or download the MP3 directly to your device of choice.
The podcasts are very informative and cover a wide variety of subjects and lots of how-to's. Some specific cases are discussed, methodology is demonstrated. and they bring listeners the latest in the genealogy community. They also take questions from their listeners!

Are you a Civil War buff???
If you research the Civil War there is a site where you can talk to other researchers in a forum setting "Civil War Talk" is a forum site dedicated just to the Civil War and you can interact with researchers on a particular subject. The site also contains hundreds of pictures of Camps and soldiers plus biographies of people and places in the Civil War era.

We have added a new section to our blog page. Its for Facebook users who LIKE to interact with others on a more personal level. Because Facebook is a social venue, please set the privacy setting to your own level. Some Facebook users are very private. You will find the links to the right here on the blog. If you have a Facebook link pertaining to genealogy and you know it would be a benefit to researchers we will be glad to add it.
