Given the time we have had during this pandemic crisis and the additional opportunity of ancestral and  historical sites being opened up to the general public without subscription, there is an astounding amount of undiscovered information out there to be found.  

Ancestry, National Archives (NARA), MyHeritage and other big databases have opened up their sites to the general public without pay for research purposes. 





Archives.org has uploaded new books and documents, some from the new copyright guidelines
( before 1924) and some from otherwise closed areas that were not public accessible. 
 Also JStor and Artstor has open and free content as well content available for researchers as well.

The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society has free upcoming webinars and providing access to numerous collections, including enhanced access to the complete archive of The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record.

The Digital Public Library of America ( DPLA) 

The new web catalog allows anyone to browse and directly download any of the more than 6,300 ebook titles available on DPLA’s Open Bookshelf. Choose from classic novels, children’s books, textbooks and non-English titles, all for free, with no login or library card needed.
37 Million  videos, texts, images and sounds are available at their website. 

In the past month, hundreds of genealogy videos have been added to YouTube. 
Genealogy superstars like Lisa Louise Cook and  Lisa Lisson, Ancestral Findings, Allen County Public Library, Boundless Genealogy and Genealogy TV have new and exciting how to videos recently uploaded.
