Evernote is a archiving, note taking clipping program that is used by thousands of genealogy researchers to help organize, file and  save their research bookmarks, PDF's, articles and pages for later reference or you can share your research material with others . There are several versions that can be used across all devices. It saves space on your hard drive because it stores you information in the cloud.
Our general meeting and program begins at 10:30 am in the downstairs meeting room at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center.

Using Google Forms To Survey Your Society

Every few years we survey our society and gather information about their genealogy research habits, this year we used Google Forms to conduct the survey .
Google forms allows you to conduct a survey, design a questionnaire, do quiz's and tests and it also has a fantastic summary tab that calculates the answers into a chart and a spreadsheet .  It is cross platform and runs in the cloud, you don't have to download any software and its easy to use. There is also add-ons to add functionality even greater.

And its FREE!
(Google account required)
