Welcome !
With a new year ahead of us, we are looking forward to some great programs, lectures and learning workshops from our members and guest speakers.
The first program of the year in January, will lead off with Linda Colton from the Hood River Family History Center giving us creative ways to use timelines in our family research.
In February, Sandy Bisset will tell us how DNA testing works and its relevance to genealogical research.
In March, Emma Jean Smith , Registrar from the Celilo Chapter of the Daughters of The American Revolution will be telling us about the process of documenting the research path to the patriot ancestor, emphasizing primary source material.
These are just a few great programs we have in store for you. Remember the public is always welcome to our programs. Bring a friend and join us for a no -host lunch in the Basalt Café at 12:00 pm each meeting day. Programs start at 1:00 pm on the second Saturdays of each month except in December. Programs are in the downstairs meeting room at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center.
We hope to see you there!!
