The Columbia Gorge Genealogical Society was entertained by Holly Robison, a professional storyteller from the Portland Storytelling Guild. Holly told her own personal story of her grandmother and mother during her childhood and then preceded to instruct the members on how to build a story of their own using storyboards , adding emotion and sensory to make a story more exciting and appealing to hear as well. The members broke up into groups of three to build their own stories from events  based on their genealogical research and add the elements to build their stories to pass along.

Holly does programs for societies, schools and theater groups. Her website is linked below.
