The National Genealogical Society recently updated their recommended guidelines for researcher's and genealogical professionals. The guidelines have not been updated since 2002. The basic guidelines and 3 other important areas; internet, using libraries and other record repositories, and self-improvement and growth have been condensed into 4 PDF files to download.
