Explore Oregon's brewing history at the State Archives annual Open House on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. As part of a national month long recognition of archives programs, we will feature records from our holdings that showcase Oregon's rich brewing heritage. Visitors can participate in activities that feature colorful trademarks of early Oregon breweries, hops production, the prohibition era, the "Beer Wars" and laws that helped usher in Oregon's booming brew pub industry. Hear the Stories: Oregon African American Railroad Porters Oral History Collection

Glitter in the Archives! Using History to Imagine Queer and Trans Futures
An opportunity for community members to participate in an evening of crafting using archival materials and, of course, learn about OSQA (OSU Queer Archives)<http://wpmu.library.oregonstate.edu/oregon-multicultural-archives/tag/osqa/> and OSU + Corvallis area queer history.
Location: 5th Floor SCARC Reading Room in the Valley Library
