The Washington State Library SOS site has added historic newspapers online this week.
Researchers and genealogy buffs can browse over 400,000 pages from historical newspapers from across Washington. Volunteers can also sign up for text correcting which corrects errors in the OCR readout. This helps the search system work with more accuracy.
