The past year has been challenging for genealogists and historians. Closed libraries, museums, and institutions have made researching difficult. What have we learned by this devastating event?
Before the lockdown we were aware of electronic platforms of communication but not all of us embraced it as we have learned to do as of today. Now we are using these communication skills on a daily basis.
The internet, which can be a good source of course doesn't have everything we need for our researching but we can use it to find places in which to look for information "sources" needed to answer questions and queries. Museums, libraries, institutions and organizations have stepped up too to offer free webinars and programs to help their followers keep current on events and available study.
As for genealogy webinars we have researched and passed on webinar information to you which we believe you maybe interested in and help you gain more knowledge from. Our favorite national speakers and genealogy societies have also offered free and open to the public events via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
We will continue to pass on webinar and virtual programing information to our members and anyone that is interested in genealogy and history research. These two go hand in hand when gathering your family history.

The Genealogical Forum of Oregon has a comprehensive schedule also. You can sign up for their online newsletters or visit their site for upcoming events. They also off several data bases free online as well.
