November Program - Rodger Nichols - How To Start Writing Your Family Stories

Rodger Nichols is no stranger to a keyboard. He has been writing for both radio and newspapers for more than 50 years. In 2004 he co-authored a book on the history of Wasco County, Oregon for its sesquicentennial. He has won statewide and regional awards for his editorials, feature stories, and a column he wrote for 19 years. He has also interviewed more than 850 authors, from Clive Cussler and Jack Reacher author Lee Child to local and regionally-known writers.

He also has a keen sense of family history, and has collected numerous stories from previous generations. In this session, he hopes to offer valuable tips and suggestions for starting and finishing a family history.
