These cold foggy and dark days of winter deserves a cup of coffee, a warm fire, a cozy chair and most of all a great book in hand. If you own a Kindle or Nook or even that matter if you don't, there are two books at Amazon. Com that are both entertaining and educational.
The first, Reunion-A search for Ancestors by Ryan Littrell , offers a great story. It rates a 5 star on Amazons Genealogy list. Its a combination of the history of Scotland and how-to genealogy. He tracks his research , travels and it very well written.
About:
An anonymous letter reveals the first clues about his family's origins, and soon those clues take him to country graveyards, long-lost cousins, and a shocking DNA discovery. And as one hint follows the next, he uncovers the story of his Scottish ancestors--a tale of heartbreak, betrayal, and unfailing strength.
A real-life account, Reunion shows how our ancestors are still a part of us, and how a place across the ocean can almost feel like home.
