Columbia Gorge Genealogical Society’s annual Tech Fest
will take place on August 8th at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center. The event
will start at 1:00 PM in the main level board room. The purpose of the fest is
to bring researchers the latest technology in genealogical research and to help
guide researchers with internet information, organizational skills, genealogical
softwear and demonstrate skills for the computer and other electronic devices.
Personal publishing and self publishing you family history will be discussed
and participants are asked to bring their ipads or laptops and a notebook .
